Street Team: Noun (Collective): [nI'eev] A group of individuals duped, harassed, blackmailed, bribed, hit with large sticks and generally coerced into undertaking publicity and associated rubbish jobs for bands that are too damn lazy to get off their arse to do it themselves.
In an effort to further manipulate these poor people, some ponce from a band (no doubt the singer… from an emo band… in Kent) came up with a patronising, meaningless title to make them feel more important (In much the same vein as “Blackboard Helpers” and “Head of the Scottish Conservative Party”)
It’s pure bloody exploitation, disgusting and belittling… shameful…
So, if you are sold on the idea get in touch here. First 20 members will get a special gold (coloured) stripe, the title “Street Commander” and all ordinary “Street Team” members will be required to bow in their presence.
