Gav graduated with a masters in Geology before deciding that there really was only one kind of rock for him, and it had bugger all to do with limestone
Gav is concentrating now on combining his amazing talents for art with computer design with a view to working in the gaming industry.
He’s been playing guitar for six years (no not continuously ‘cos that would be silly!) and is self taught.
His influences include Bruce Springsteen, REM, Queen, Bryan Adams, Mostly Autumn and, of course, Richie Sambora and Bon Jovi.

Gav suffers from bad GAS (that's "Guitar Aquisition
Syndrome" by the way!) and has subsequently plundered most of his
old student loans on gear - being so picky to the point of settling for no
less than Richie's exact models of amp, guitars and pedals which all
adds to the live look of the band too - or at least, that's his
excuse! Now all he plans to do is learn to play as well as he can -
just for the record, the rest of us don’t think he’s a kick in the ass off!
As well as having a sickening amount of lovely guitars, Gav’s latest project is building a double neck Sambora strat… the cost of the necks alone would probably sort out the national debt of Belgium… but we don’t talk about that… especially in front of his wife.

WHY JOVI?: After picking up my dad's acoustic and playing
a few chords, I needed songs - 'Always' just happened to be one of
them on some cheesy love song compilation (not mine I might add!).
After that I bought the Crossroads album and was immersed in
nostalgia as 'Livin' On A Prayer' kicked in as the opening track and
I was hooked from there!
FAVOURITE JOVI TRACK: Livin' On A Prayer - you gotta dig the talk-
box!
LEAST FAVOURITE JOVI TRACK: There are plenty that I don't like
actually but I think 'Social Disease' tops them.
FAVOURITE JOVI ALBUM: Oooo, a toughy! Can I pick two? No? Oh well,
it has to be 'These Days' then.
LIKES: Guinness Extra Cold/ Buying guitar equipment/ Christmas
DISLIKES: The "little rain" that gets you wet/ Not having enough
money to buy new guitar equipment/ Women who drive kids to school in 4x4s!
